360° becomes oikos Copenhagen
This spring, 360° Students for Sustainability will take a big step forward and change its name to oikos Copenhagen. By that transformation, our organization joins the international network for sustainable economics and management – oikos. Despite the name change, our vision remains the same: to inspire and educate students so that they can make sustainable choices in their private lives and their future careers.
We believe that changing our name to oikos Copenhagen will enable us to reach our full potential as game changer within the sustainability field. As part of oikos we are able to leverage the network’s resources and exchange knowledge and best practices with the 42 other local chapters around the world. This extensive network offers unique opportunities for our members, and we look forward to giving more students the chance to participate in international conferences, as well as exposing them to the dynamism and diversity of the global sustainability debate.
We would like to invite you to the launch of oikos Copenhagen on April 18th, 4 pm – 5.30 pm at Ks43 (Kilen, CBS). Featured speakers from Carlsberg, Danish Fashion Institute and Vesterkopi will talk about how we – as consumers – can make a difference by making sustainable choices in our everyday lives. There will be a reception after the event.
